Human Trafficking and Religeon
On Wednesday, 26th February 2025, the Universal Peace Federation in London hosted a powerful event addressing human trafficking and modern-day slavery, highlighting the crucial role of faith-based organisations in tackling this global crisis. Often hidden within communities, supply chains, and even religious celebrations, modern slavery demands urgent action, and faith communities are uniquely positioned to advocate for justice, support survivors, and drive meaningful change. Hosted and moderated by Sheikh Dr Ramzy and Robin Marsh, the event brought together a distinguished panel of faith leaders, community figures, and former political leaders, including Keith Best, Martin Weightman, Nicola Garrington, Dr Fotiny Gudela, Capt Ali Javed, Raja Sikandar, Tracy Coleman, Es Rosan, Harmeet Shah Singh, and Rev Dr Sir Sumana Siri. Through insightful discussions, speakers shared strategies on interfaith collaboration, survivor support, and systemic solutions to combat human trafficking, reinforcing the power of unity in promoting dignity, justice, and hope worldwide.

Despite inclement weather at Marble Arch, London, the STW team dedicated an entire afternoon to raising awareness about human trafficking and modern-day slavery. For four relentless hours in the downpour, our commitment to advocate for those without a voice and who suffer in silence remained unwavering. Each conversation initiated in those challenging conditions served as a critical step toward justice for the vulnerable. We extend our sincere gratitude to all who participated in this important initiative, and we remain steadfast in our pursuit of amplifying the voices of those in need.

Park Walk leafleting
and Annual Get Together
On a crisp day at Hyde Park, Stop Trafficking Worldwide took to the paths with one mission: to fight one of the gravest injustices of our time - Human Trafficking! A crime hidden in plain sight, right here in the UK, across Europe, and the world. As we handed out leaflets, people asked us, “Where is this happening?” The answer was stark: it’s happening everywhere, including in our own communities. Some were shocked. Others couldn’t – or wouldn’t – believe it. And then there were those who simply didn’t care. For our new volunteers, it was a sobering reality check. How has modern society made us so indifferent? Human trafficking is modern-day slavery, and we’re often too busy, too distracted, too comfortable to notice. We refuse to accept this. We refuse to look away. Change starts when we open our eyes, our hearts, and our voices. To everyone who walked with us at Hyde Park – thank you. Together, we will fight for those whose voices have been silenced. It’s time to care. It’s time to act. It’s time to be human again.
